Hi, I'm Olya Shapiro-Rubleva.
I am a poet, an artist, a photographer, a cat, a shiny unicorn. I probably do not exist.
One person called me 'as mysterious as the dark side of the moon'; the other said I was really dark and depressed, and also called me shallow because I love beautiful things, but added: 'I didn't say it was a bad thing’.
I'm probably a cloud or a gust of wind.
My friends and family are scattered all over the world and time.

My art practice includes walking, reenactment, self-portraiture, still life photography, urban snapshots, interaction with ready-made and found objects as well as overthinking and daydreaming.
As a photographer, I'm good at shooting intimate (self) portraits, lifestyle, food, objects, travel and events.
I feel naked without a book in my pocket.
I love flowers, sweets, good music and wine, travelling and collecting rocks.
I was born in Rostov-on-Don; since 2018 I'm living in Hamburg, Germany.
